• Email Address: Used for account authentication and login
• Password: Securely hashed and stored for account access

2.2 Job Opportunity Data

When you use the Chrome extension to save a job opportunity, we collect:

• Job title
• Company name

• Job description
• Job posting URL
• Source (LinkedIn)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To authenticate and manage your TRACCA account
• Job Tracking: To store and organize job opportunities you choose to save
• Service Improvement: To improve and optimize the extension and web application

We do NOT:

• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Sell or rent your personal information
• Collect data from LinkedIn without your explicit action
• Access your LinkedIn account or credentials

4. Chrome Extension Permissions

4.1 activeTab Permission

Used to read job details from the currently active LinkedIn job page only when you click the extension icon. We do not monitor your browsing activity or access tabs in the background.

4.2 Host Permissions

• linkedin.com: To extract job posting details from LinkedIn job pages when you choose to save them
• traccajob.com: To securely communicate with your TRACCA account API

4.3 Storage Permission

Used to securely store your authentication session token locally in the browser, allowing you to remain logged in. No other data is stored locally.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Encryption: All data is transmitted over HTTPS encrypted connections
• Authentication: Passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard methods
• Storage: Data is stored securely in our database (Supabase) with enterprise-grade security
• Access Control: Only you can access your saved job opportunities

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your saved job opportunities at any time
• Delete: Remove any saved job opportunity from your account
• Export: Request a copy of your data
• Account Deletion: Delete your entire account and all associated data

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved job opportunities until you choose to delete them or close your account. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate TRACCA:

• Supabase: For secure database storage and authentication
• Vercel: For hosting the web application

These services are GDPR and SOC 2 compliant and handle data according to their respective privacy policies.
